Pack Your Bags and get Ready for your flight at the Laredo International Airport for the Inaugural Runway Run 5K! This one-of-a-kind race is unlike any other! You will have the ability to go where few have gone before and run among active runways used by commercial aircraft at the Laredo International Airport! Along the course, you will get to see commercial and general aviation aircrafts taking off and landing. You will have the opportunity to take pictures with a display of Airport equipment such as Fire Apparatus, aircrafts and various types of airline ground support equipment. This is truly a once in a lifetime opportunity!

Fees
Early Registration: 5k -$35 & 1K - $10 Event Day: 5K- $45 & 1K- $15
Entry fees are nonrefundable. If you are unable to participate, you may transfer your registration to another participant.
Awards
Overall Male and female -2 vouchers for each from Allegiant Air
Age Groups: Male and Female
(14 and Under), (15-19) (20 to 29), (30 to 39), (40 to 49), (50 to 59), (60-69), (70+), Other abilities category.
Chip Timed Race
Swag: The first 500 participants will receive a shirt, a special finisher’s medal and a timing BIB.
Race information
- No strollers (on the runway), skateboards, rollerblades, bikes or pets allowed.
- No selfie sticks are allowed on the runway.
- Stay on the course. Anyone deviating from the course will be removed from the race.
- No littering. Please help us keep the area free of debris!
- DO NOT bend the bib! They will not work if bent in any way.
- Adhere the bib to the front center chest area of your shirt.
- Waivers must be signed or you will not be allowed to run/walk.
- There will be a designated spectator zone. Bring fans to cheer you up.
- Join us after the race for snacks and drinks inside the Signature Flight Support Building. Door Prizes!

Race conclusion
Anyone not in the finish line after one hour will be picked up
in a courtesy vehicle and brought back to the finish line.
We need to get the runway back in operation.

PACKET PICK-UP
Avoid the Crowd- pick-up your race shirt and bib before the race! All you need is your registration confirmation and a valid ID. Packet pick up will also be available on the day of the race.
